The Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026 concluded in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, today. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasised adopting agricultural system knowledge and modern technologies. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan highlighted that a comprehensive Seed to Market agricultural roadmap has been prepared for the region. Under this plan, initiatives such as seed villages, custom hiring centres, machine banks, cold storage facilities, and strengthening Farmer-Producer Organisations will be promoted. 

 

The closing session focused on modern farming practices and the use of technology to benefit farmers. The three-day festival was held at Dussehra Ground in Raisen, aiming to provide farmers with knowledge about new technologies, improved seeds, irrigation methods, and organic farming practices.
