Union Ministers Congratulate Prime Minister Modi on Receiving Oman’s Highest Civilian Honour

Union Ministers Amit Shah, Dr S Jaishankar and Jagat Prakash Nadda today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being conferred with the First Class of the Order of Oman, the highest civilian honour of Oman. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that the honour being conferred on the Prime Minister is a grand endorsement of his statesmanship and his acceptance as a global leader. He added that the back-to-back honours to our Prime Minister attest to the power of 140 crore Indians and the emergence of India as a transformed nation under his leadership.

 

Dr Jaishankar said that the bestowal of the honour is an acknowledgement of Prime Minister Modi’s steadfast commitment towards strengthening the India-Oman partnership. He added that it is also an honour for all Indians worldwide and a recognition of the close people-to-people bonds that exist with Oman. Mr Nadda said that the recognition reflects PM Modi’s dedicated efforts in strengthening India-Oman relations and advancing cooperation for shared progress. He added that this is a proud moment for the nation and a testament to India’s rising stature on the global stage.
