Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that India is the fastest-growing major economy today, and the growth is very consistent. In an interview with a private news channel on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Mr Vaishnaw said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the Indian economy in the last decade with moderate inflation and high growth. He stated that there have been deep reforms in every sector, which include reforms in the labour code, GST reform, and energy sector reforms. He noted that India has to be resilient in such a turbulent environment, with turbulence in the geopolitical, geoeconomic, and geotechnical scenarios.
