Union Minister for Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the Saras Aajeevika Food Festival 2025 in New Delhi today.
The Ministry of Rural Development informed that around 300 Lakhpati Didis and women from Self-Help Groups from 25 states across the country will participate in the festival.
It added that out of the total 62 stalls, 50 will serve live food, while 12 stalls will offer natural food products at the festival.
The Ministry said that states including Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Gujarat, are participating in the food festival.
The visitors from across Delhi and neighboring cities will be able to savour over 500 exquisite delicacies, showcasing the diverse food culture and social fabric of the country.
The food festival will remain open to visitors from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will continue till the 9th of this month.
