Union Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chauhan today stressed integrated farming and said that Increasing farmer’s income through new seed varieties and intercropping is the priority of the government. He was speaking in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh after performing Darshan and Poojan at Ramlala temple and Hanumangarhi. He also visited KVC Krishi Vigyan Kendra here. Mr Chauhan said that real policies are made in the fields, among farmers, and the prosperity of the farmers is the government’s commitment. He further added that the goal of the government is to ensure food security for the country and ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, along with increasing farmers’ income. He pointed out that the state government, under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, is also doing exceptionally well.
