Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today said that the India-US Trade deal is the best agreement in the national interest, in which the interests of farmers have been fully safeguarded. He was taken to the media in Mathura city of Uttar Pradesh after the Govardhan parikrama here. The Agriculture Minister said that the trade agreement will give new wings to the dreams of India’s farmers, women, and youth, enabling them to soar to new heights of progress and development. The Agriculture Minister said that the diplomacy of the country is developing under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Farmers’ interests have been fully protected in the recent agreement. He claimed that major grains, including wheat and barley, have been completely protected in this agreement.
