Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia today met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi to discuss key railway infrastructure projects related to the Northeast regions and Madhya Pradesh. In a social media post, Mr. Scindia said that detailed discussions were held on various projects aimed at strengthening direct rail connectivity for Gwalior, Guna, and the Chambal region from different parts of Madhya Pradesh as well as the country.

He said positive discussions also took place regarding additional stoppages for major trains in the Chambal region, the introduction of new trains and rail expansion plans. The Union Minister further stated that significant discussions were held on enhancing rail services and improving connectivity in the Northeast region.
