Union Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has saluted the indomitable spirit of women seafarers on the International Day for Women in Maritime today. In a social media post, Mr Sonowal said that India is witnessing a huge increase in the number of Indian women seafarers, driven by deep policy reforms. He added that Nari Shakti is taking the helm, steering Bharat and the global maritime sector toward a brighter, more inclusive future.
