Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today and discussed key issues concerning Andhra Pradesh. In a social media post, Mr Naidu expressed gratitude to the Home Minister for his timely intervention in resolving issues related to the Rural Development Trust and its Foreign Contribution Regulation Act registration (FCRA). He said the FCRA registration of the organisation has now been renewed by the Home Ministry, enabling the organisation to continue its invaluable service to the people. He noted that this positive outcome reflects the continuous efforts of the government. The Minister also highlighted the issue of severe coastal erosion near the mouths of the Nagavali River and Vamsadhara River at PG Peta and Kalingapatnam villages. He asked for support from the National Disaster Mitigation Fund for immediate corrective measures, along with long-term mitigation strategies to address the issue.
