Ayush Minister, Prataprao Jadhav, today inaugurated the Chintan Shivir on the completion of 25 years of the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jadhav said that the board has been dedicated to the development and promotion of medicinal plants for 25 years. He said it reflects the significant role of NMPB in linking biodiversity conservation with sustainable livelihoods and economic development. During the event, the Minister released a booklet on the 25-year journey of NMPB and the Terrace Garden Booklet. He also released a variety of Medicinal Plants developed by the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
