Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met with France’s Special Envoy for Artificial Intelligence at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Pradhan said that both sides discussed deepening Indo-French engagements in AI. Mr Pradhan further added that the discussions were also focused on greater collaborations in research, innovation, science and emerging technologies.

He said that human-centric, responsible, open and inclusive AI frameworks will be the key drivers of global growth and prosperity. The Minister said that both India and France remain committed to developing safe, secure, ethical and trustworthy AI for advancing development and global good.
