Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today lauded the roll-out of AI models by Sarvam and BharatGen at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. In a social media post, Mr Pradhan called the launch of the AI model a defining moment in the country’s journey towards achieving self-reliance in full-stack AI infrastructure.

The Minister said that the country’s deep talent pool, backed by the enabling environment and policy support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will help achieve technological and digital sovereignty, securing the country’s strategic, economic and data autonomy in the times ahead. He expressed confidence that India’s AI is ready to serve the world.
