Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal today welcomed the decision of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to quash the FIR registered against Amit Malviya over his tweets criticising Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks on Sanatan Dharma. Interacting with media persons at Madurantakam, he said this was a clear affirmation that justice prevails. He alleged that the DMK leaders M.K. Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin were anti-Hindu and corrupt, and said they should be removed from power.
The BJP leader said that the party was forming an alliance with its NDA partners and stated that the AIADMK would lead the elections. He also said that the public meeting scheduled for Friday was significant and that all alliance leaders would share the dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who would formally launch the campaign, which would end what he described as the corrupt DMK government.
