Union Minister Piyush Goyal today termed the India -EU Free Trade Agreement as the mother of all deals. Briefing the media in New Delhi today, Mr Goyal said it is India’s eighth Free Trade Agreement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted that this breakthrough in the EU-India trade relations comes after 20 years. Briefing the media, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said India-EU relations are particularly important amid current geopolitics. He said the India-EU security and defence partnership will bolster counter terrorism.
