Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal today met delegations of UK Members of Parliament led by MP and Chairman of the UK Parliamentary Business and Trade Select Committee Liam Byrne. In a social media post, Mr Goyal said they discussed on advancing India-UK relations, with a focus on economic growth, sustainable development, and innovation.

 

He expressed hope that this partnership will unlock new opportunities for both nations. In another meeting, Mr Goyal met the delegation of the American Intellectual Property Law Association led by its President Salvatore Anastasi. He said that they discussed advancing India’s IP laws, fostering global alignment, promoting innovation, and enhancing ease of doing business to further strengthen the nation’s global competitiveness.
