Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today said that the construction industry is evolving into an innovation and technology-driven industry.

Addressing the 17th Construction Industry Development Council Vishwakarma Awards 2026 in New Delhi, Mr Gadkari said that the government aims to improve the quality of construction across the country and to lower its cost. He highlighted the potential of India’s construction and infrastructure sector as pillars of the nation’s economic growth.
