Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the first Nagpur Book Festival 2025, jointly organized by National Book Trust (NBT), Maharashtra Government and Zero Mile Youth Foundation in Nagpur on Saturday. Nine Day festival which will continue till 30th of November is organised at Reshimbagh Ground in East Nagpur. Nitin Gadkari while highlighting the importance of reading culture said that, the reading is not just entertainment its about personality development. The thoughts that reach our hearts and minds through books creates personality. He also said that India is a storehouse of knowledge and the glorious history, culture and tradition of the country are our great strength. If the country wants to become a world leader and if the future of the country have to be bright, then it has to acquire knowledge and this knowledge is obtained from books. More than 300 publishers have participated in this 9 Day book festival will also witness many cultural performances.
