Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, today inaugurated the MP Sports Festival at Kandoliya Ground in Pauri district of Uttarakhand. Addressing the youth, he highlighted the importance of sports culture in nation-building and reiterated the Central Government’s commitment to developing Pauri as a high-altitude sports hub. Speaking to players and local residents, the Union Minister said that the MP Sports Festival will provide a fair and transparent platform to young talent.

He added that in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, efforts are being made to strengthen sports culture at the grassroots level across the country. He expressed confidence that talented players emerging from the festival will represent India in international competitions, including the 2030 Commonwealth Games. He said that when an athlete wins on the field, the entire nation wins.
