In Sikkim, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, offered prayers at Samling Choling Monastery in Mangan district today. He was accompanied by Sikkim Social Welfare Minister Samdup Lepcha and singer Mohit Chauhan. After interacting with the monks, Mr. Rijiju visited an under-construction monastery within the same complex, where he was briefed on the progress of work. He assured support from the Centre for the early completion of the monastery and related facilities. Later, Mr Shah visited Ani Gumpa and offered prayers.
