Strengthening sports infrastructure in the border region, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated a newly constructed multipurpose indoor hall-cum-volleyball stadium at Muyo in Lungla subdivision of Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Developed under the Government of India’s Khelo India initiative, the facility will provide modern training amenities for indoor sports, especially volleyball, and encourage youth participation in competitive athletics. The state’s minister for Sports Youth Affairs, Kento Jini and Local MLA Tsering Lhamu, along with district officials, sports administrators and community leaders, were present on the occasion.
