Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that he had given a commitment to the Congress party in front of the Speaker that if Congress agrees to let the House function normally, then the Opposition parties get the chance to speak. Mr Rijiju criticises the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for making baseless accusations, saying that Mr Gandhi created a ruckus and does not allow others to speak.
On Opposition to move no-confidence motion against the Speaker, Mr Rijiju said that it doesn’t matter. He said that the Opposition can bring the motion, but they don’t have the numbers.
