Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, today launched the India Mobile Congress- IMC 25 application in New Delhi. With AI-based suggestions, improved networking, and interactive elements, the app aims to enhance users’ experience at the Expo.
It will assist users in connecting, exploring, and participating in the exhibition.
The ninth edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 is scheduled to be held from the 8th to the 11th of next month at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. The theme for IMC 25 is ‘Innovate to Transform’.
Launching the application, Mr. Scindia said that the telecom sector has become a major driver of global connectivity, facilitating not just information exchange but also commerce, livelihood, and emotional connections.
The Minister emphasized that IMC 25 will be a platform that connects industry with innovation, policy with progress, and is a forum where the future of connectivity is defined. He said in the expo, discussions will include how farmers, school children, and MSMEs are leveraging connectivity to transform their lives.
The Ministry said that IMC 2025 will showcase over one thousand cutting-edge use-cases, spotlighting emerging technologies including 5G, 6G, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), electronics manufacturing, and green tech, while addressing the challenges and opportunities of an increasingly digital world.
