Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers J. P. Nadda today chaired a Consultative Committee meeting on infrastructure initiatives in the chemical sector in New Delhi. In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that the meeting and discussions were focused on setting up new chemical parks, boosting domestic manufacturing, and reducing import dependence. The Minister noted that the members shared constructive suggestions to drive growth, increase investment, and generate employment. Mr Nadda added that the government aims to build a modern, competitive, and self-reliant chemical industry to support India’s development.
