Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr. Jitendra Singh will chair the 15th Pension Adalat at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in New Delhi tomorrow. In total, 1,087 long-standing pension grievances pertaining to 24 Departments and Ministries will be taken up in the Adalat for redressal.

Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Ministry said the Adalat is envisaged to resolve the long-pending grievances, thereby facilitating payment of the rightful dues of the pensioners. These include cases involving huge arrears due to delays in the commencement of family pension or procedural delays where pensions have not been processed and disbursed correctly.
