Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has said that India has become a technology-driven nation in the past eleven years. Addressing the 84th foundation day of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, Dr Singh said that technology will play an important role in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047. He lauded CSIR for developing indigenous technology to produce Paracetamol and the country’s first antibiotic named Nafithromycin.
