Union Coal Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy has appealed to construction firms to use only indigenous materials in the construction sector in view of the changes taking place across the world.
Participating in the Hyderabad Property Show 2025 organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), the Minister said the construction sector will be booming in Hyderabad and the construction firms should work in tune with the interests of consumers. He assured all necessary support from the government for the construction sector. However, the builders should not compromise on the quality of the construction of houses. Mr Reddy said Hyderabad is moving forward speedily in the IT and Pharma sector besides the construction sector.
The Centre has been encouraging the State government in providing infrastructure for laying national highways. Warangal city is getting an Airport and the Government is going to transform the Defense Airport into a public airport in Adilabad. He also said the MMTS trains are going to change into AC trains. Stating that the Metro project is pending due to technical reasons, he said it will also be completed soon.
