The Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, will organise an event in New Delhi tomorrow to celebrate International Sign Language Day.

The event will be presided over by Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar. The primary focus of the program is to highlight the unity generated by sign languages and the need to preserve them as an essential part of linguistic and cultural diversity. This year, the theme for International Sign Language Day 2024 is “Sign up for Sign Language Rights.”
