Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr L. Murugan has concluded a successful multi-city visit to the Republic of Korea, further deepening India-Korea collaboration in the fields of media, entertainment, culture, gaming, and emerging technologies. The Union Minister held a meeting yesterday with Jin-young Choi, President and Publisher of The Herald Media Group (Korea Herald/Herald Business).
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting informed that the two leaders discussed ways to enhance potential collaboration in the areas of culture, media, and the entertainment industry between India and the Republic of Korea. They also agreed to work towards increasing awareness of each other’s culture and creative content in both countries. Dr L. Murugan also held an engaging meeting with members of the Korea-India Parliamentary Friendship Group.
In a social media post, the Ministry shared that the discussions focused on further strengthening the partnership between the two nations. It added that the meeting emphasised cooperation in media, entertainment, culture, and emerging technologies.
