Union Minister Chirag Paswan has accused the opposition for spreading confusion regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative, which is currently underway in Bihar.
Speaking outside Parliament, Mr. Paswan pointed out that after the Maharashtra assembly election, the opposition had raised concerns about duplicity of votes.
He added that such complaints can be addressed with the SIR process, but when the government adopts this method, the opposition raises objections.
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi alleged that the government is not willing for discussion on Special Intensive Revision exercise in Parliament.
Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr. Gogoi said, the government has not fixed a date for conducting discussion on the Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor.
