Informationand Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today launched a series of special Programmes for DD National and DD News on Seva Parv at an event in New Delhi. It includes three documentaries and one special show. Seva Parv is being observed from today on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Birthday, which will continue till 2nd of the next month. On the occasion, Mr Vaishnaw said that India has established its new identity across the globe. He added that Mr Modi has always worked for nation building from the beginning of his life. The Minister said that Prime Minister Modi has transformed politics as a medium to serve people of the country.
On the occasion, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju said that this is a special occasion, when the people are acknowledging the transformative journey of the nation. He added that stories are coming from across the country about change, transformation and nation building.
Under the series of programmes, three documentaries and one special show were launched. The first documentary, “Sankalp ki Shakti, Sushasan ka Samarthya”, highlights India’s achievements over the past 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, guided by the principles of Reform, Perform and Transform.

While, the second documentary, ‘Vishva Patal par Netrutva ka Shankhnaad’, showcases India’s rising stature on the global stage and the growing acceptance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a global leader.
The third documentary, ‘Karmayogi: Ek Antahin Yatra’, focuses on the Prime Minister’s tireless efforts, dedication, and commitment over the past 11 years, and highlights achievements in fields such as space research, the startup ecosystem, women’s empowerment, cultural renaissance, and spirituality.
In addition, several documentaries in regional languages have also been produced for state-based news channels, which will be broadcast by Doordarshan’s regional centres.
The fourth programme in the series is a special feature titled ‘Mera Gaon Aaj’, which narrates the story of transformation in India’s villages over the last 11 years. The programme will showcase 75 villages, where sarpanches, local officials, and villagers themselves will present their stories of development. Akashvani is also broadcasting a series of special programmes to mark Seva Parv. These are being aired on national as well as regional channels of Akashvani from 15th of this month.
