Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tribute to Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati on his martyrdom day. In a social media post, Mr Shah noted that Swami Shraddhanand fought against social evils throughout his life and made contributions in the direction of Swaraj and Swadeshi culture. The Home Minister added that Swami Shraddhanand has played an unforgettable role in promoting women’s education and the Indian knowledge tradition.
