Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to the people on the Prakash Purab of the seventh Sikh guru Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji today. In a social media post, Mr Shah said, the teachings of Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji, who strengthened the traditions of langar and sangat, are a source of compassion and sensitivity. He noted that Guru Sahib Ji rendered true service to humanity, providing healing and health to people of every caste, class, and community through his medicines. The Home Minister further said that Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji’s life and teachings continue to inspire society towards selfless service, equality, and compassion.
