Union Home Minister Amit Shah today expressed grief over the demise of Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Biswa Bandhu Sen was a committed leader who dedicated several years of his life to public service.

He added that Biswa Bandhu Sen’s passing is a grave loss to the state’s political arena and conveyed his thoughts and condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and admirers.
