The Union government has stated that Rabi crops have been sown across over 614 lakh hectares as of Friday. 

 

 

The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said, Pulses have been sown over 133 lakh hectare area, compared to 129 lakh hectare area during the corresponding period of last year.

 

 

The Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare has released the progress report on area coverage under the Rabi crop. Shri Anna and Coarse Cereals were sown in more than 49.06 lakh hectares, compared to 48 lakh hectares in November last year. The area sown with Oilseeds crossed over 94 lakh hectares.
