Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is connecting India’s new generation through the National Education Policy (NEP), helping achieve the goal of a developed India. Mr Pradhan said this while attending the SRCC annual management conclave named YUGANTAR ’26 at Delhi University.

Talking about the ongoing AI Impact Summit 2026 in National Capital, Mr Pradhan said that it showcased India’s unmatched innovative capacity. He also highlighted that to take this potential to new heights, NEP 2020 must be implemented in its true spirit. He further said that India has taken on the responsibility of representing the Global South in the field of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence. On the centenary celebrations of SRCC, the education minister said that SRCC’s Diploma in Global Business Operations will be recognised as a degree programme soon.
