The leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, R Ashoka, has said that the Union Budget will give a massive boost to Bengaluru’s infrastructure and improve mobility. In a statement issued to the media, he has said that the budget allocation of 2000 crore rupees for Namma Metro, five hundred crore rupees for the Suburban Rail project, 1500 crore for PM E-drive, and five hundred crore rupees for PM eBus Sewa will help Bengaluru take a transformational leap in public transport, green mobility and urban development. This will, in addition, significantly improve the quality of life and reduce pollution.
