Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivrajraj Singh Chauhan, is visiting Punjab today to take stock of the flood-ravaged state. The Union Minister will be visiting some villages of the most affected districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala. He will also be meeting affected people in these districts.
It has been learnt that after visiting the affected areas, the Minister will be convening a high-level meeting of the concerned officials of the state and central government and others. He has said that the Central government is standing with Punjab in this hour of crisis.
