The hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. India had defeated South Africa by 25 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in the opening match of the series on Saturday. The series is being seen as an ideal preparation for both teams ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, scheduled to begin on the 15th of this month.
