Ukraine: 25 Killed in Russian Drone and Missile Strikes

A massive overnight barrage of Russian drones and missiles killed 10 people and injured dozens across Ukraine, striking residential areas. In Ternopil, two nine-story apartment blocks were hit, leaving at least 37 people injured, including children, as crews searched the rubble for survivors. 
 
 
Ukraine reported that Russia launched hundreds of strike and decoy drones along with dozens of missiles. The attacks came as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to Turkey for talks aimed at advancing efforts toward a possible settlement. Meanwhile, Russia said, debris from intercepted Ukrainian ATACMS missiles struck civilian sites in Voronezh.
 
A total of 25 people were killed in a Russian drones and missile attacks on western Ukraine, hitting two apartment blocks in Ternopil. Ukrainian rescue officials said, 73 people were wounded in one of the deadliest strikes since Russia launched its special military operation in 2022. Nearby regions, including Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk, were also targeted, and a drone strike wounded more than 30 in Kharkiv. Ukraine reported shooting down hundreds of drones and missiles, but air defences remain stretched. Buildings and energy facilities were damaged, causing fires and power cuts. Meanwhile, Russia said, debris from intercepted Ukrainian ATACMS missiles struck civilian sites in Voronezh.
