The United Kingdom has condemned Iran over what it called increasingly indiscriminate attacks across West Asia and said it has strengthened its regional defences. UK Defence Secretary John Healey accused Iran of targeting not only military sites but also civilian locations, including airports and hotels in Gulf states.

He said, the UK has reinforced its presence as part of active regional defence operations, with Royal Air Force jets operating from Qatar and Cyprus to intercept Iranian missiles and drones and help prevent further escalation.
