The festival of Rangpanchami is being celebrated with enthusiasm at the religious city of Madhya Pradesh, Ujjain today. Joining the festivities was Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who visited Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple and offered prayers.
Before the commencement of the traditional Ger – the ceremonial colour procession – the Chief Minister performed rituals for the sacred flag and the traditional weapons of the Akharas.
Following the prayers, Mr Yadav took part in a vibrant procession, ‘Shri Krishna-Sudama Rang Utsav’. In a heartwarming gesture of community spirit, Dr. Yadav was seen with public playing Holi with flowers and gulal.
