Two Senior Deputy Election Commissioners visit West Bengal to review preparations for Assembly elections

Two Senior Deputy Election Commissioners, Gyanesh Bharti and Pawan Kumar Sharma, are visiting West Bengal today to review preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. During their three-day visit, Gyanesh Bharti will meet with district election officials, police commissioners, superintendents of police, and observers in Paschim Bardhaman, Purba Bardhaman, Hooghly, and North 24 Parganas.

He will also hold discussions with senior officers from the Chief Electoral Officer’s office. Meanwhile, Pawan Kumar Sharma will conduct meetings with officials in Birbhum, Murshidabad, Nadia, and South 24 Parganas, along with top representatives of the Chief Electoral Officer’s office. Both commissioners are scheduled to arrive in Durgapur by air from Delhi and will return to the capital on April 15.
