The two-day Orientation program organized by Haryana Legislative Assembly in Chandigarh concluded today. On the last day, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh, Union Minister Manohar Lal, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker Shankar Bhai Chaudhary, Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Parliamentary Affairs Minister in Haryana Government Mahipal Dhanda and former MP Dr. Satyapal Singh addressed the program and gave the mool mantras to the first time elected MLAs to become the best MLA.

In the Orientation program, Joint Secretary of Rajya Sabha Dr. Raghav Prasad Das, former Joint Secretary of Lok Sabha Ravindra Garimela, Additional Secretary in Union Parliamentary Ministry Dr. Satyaprakash also gave information on various topics.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan said that a lot of dialogues have taken place in two days. During this, experts told how the conduct of public representatives should be. Referring to the example given by Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, he said that the conduct of public representatives should be according to dignity.

He said that one should put forward his point according to the rules. Kalyan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dreamed of One Nation-One Legislation. This will bring qualitative improvement in the parliamentary system of the country. With the development of a common digital platform, all the states will be able to share information about each other’s legislative work.
