Two-Day National Ayush Mission Summit Concludes in New Delhi

A two-day summit on the National Ayush Mission and Capacity Building concluded in New Delhi today. The summit was organised by the Ministry of Ayush.
 
 
During the event, key discussions were held on six focus areas, including Financial Management and Project Monitoring, Integration of Ayush with Modern Healthcare, Human Resource Strengthening and Capacity Building, Infrastructure Development and Service Delivery, Quality Assurance of ASU&H Medicines and IT-enabled Digital Services for the Ayush Sector.
 
 
Addressing the valedictory session, AYUSH Secretary Rajesh Kotecha emphasized the need for large-scale Behaviour Change Communication and widespread lifestyle adoption rooted in Ayurveda through the Har Ghar AyurYog initiative. He urged States and UTs to bring forward innovative proposals to strengthen the National AYUSH Mission. He also highlighted that India’s diversity is a key strength for developing scalable health models. 
 
 
Earlier, inaugurating the Summit yesterday,  Minister of State for Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav introduced two key facilities. These are a Project Management Unit for insurance support and an Advanced Centre for Ayurveda Digital Learning and Communications.
