US President Donald Trump has said that the United States may carry out more strikes on Iran’s Kharg Island, critical hub for Iranian oil exports, even as Tehran has vowed retaliation in response to Friday’s attack. In an interview to American News channel, Trump said, while Tehran appears ready to make a deal to end the conflict, the terms are not good enough yet.
He said US strikes had totally demolished most of Kharg Island. He added that US may hit Iran’s Kharg Island a few more times just for fun. Trump also shrugged off fears about rising oil prices. He said there is so much oil and gas out there, but it is being clogged up a little bit. He said it will be unclogged very soon.
