Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, announced that a Health University will soon be established in the State. He made this statement while inaugurating a training workshop for dental surgeons, nursing officers, and community health officers at Pragya Bhavan in Agartala on the occasion of World Oral Health Day.
The Chief Minister said, the government is working with a comprehensive action plan to strengthen the health care system so that people do not need to travel outside the State for treatment. Highlighting the importance of skill development, Dr. Saha noted that the State government is aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by promoting training initiatives across sectors. He stressed that collective efforts are essential to build a “new Tripura”.
