Given the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi’s Chief Minister to be held today at Ramlila Maidan in the capital, Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory regarding route diversion. According to the advisory, traffic will be restricted on the city’s Bahadur-Shah Zafar Marg, ITO to Delhi Gate, Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk, Arun Asaf Ali Marg, Minto Road, Kamala Market to Hamdard Chowk routes from 7 am to 4 pm.

Apart from this, traffic will be diverted on the routes leading to Subhash Park T-Point, Rajghat, Delhi Gate, ITO, Ajmeri Gate, Ranjit Singh Flyover and Deendayal Upadhyay Marg Lal Light. Delhi Traffic Police urged people to use public transport to reduce congestion on the roads.
