Traffic restored on Jammu Srinagar National Highway after landslide clearance

In Jammu and Kashmir, vehicular traffic was restored on the 270 kilometers long strategic Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) today after clearing landslides that blocked road connectivity in Ramban district for a day. The traffic was restored on the highway this morning following clearance of landslides. Passenger vehicles are now allowed to ply from both directions-Jammu to Srinagar and vice versa on the national highway. The vehicular movement was stopped on the national highway yesterday as landslides and shooting stones blocked both roads between Karol Bridge and Chanderkote.
