In Uttarakhand, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall at isolated places in the districts of Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Tehri, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital in the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of lightning and spells of heavy rain at some places in the hilly districts. Meanwhile, intermittent rain continues in different parts of the state.
