Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat met Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Kim Jae-won today. In a social media post, the Minister informed that they had a productive discussion on strengthening cooperation in culture, films, creative industries and tourism. He added that with the growing popularity of Korean culture in India and increasing interest in Yoga and Indian traditions in Korea, there is immense potential to further deepen people-to-people ties and enrich the India-Republic of Korea Special Strategic Partnership. He also underlined that India and Korea share a deep civilisational connect that goes back centuries, from the historic legacy of Princess Suriratna of Ayodhya to the enduring spiritual bridge of Buddhism.
